Make-up Aftercare Tips

  • Avoid Touching Your Face: Resist the temptation to touch or rub your face, as this can disturb the makeup and lead to smudging.

  • Have a Touch-Up Kit: Pack a small touch-up kit with essentials like setting powder, lipstick, and a small brush or sponge for any necessary touch-ups throughout the day or night.

  • Set Your Makeup: Use a setting powder or setting spray to help your make up last longer and stay in place, especially if you have a long day or evening ahead.

  • Blot Excess Oil: If your skin tends to get oily, use blotting papers to absorb excess oil without disturbing your makeup.

  • Gently Remove Makeup: Use a gentle makeup remover or micellar water to effectively and delicately remove makeup. Avoid rubbing harshly, especially around the eye area.

  • Double Cleanse: Follow up with a double cleanse using a facial cleanser to ensure all traces of makeup, dirt, and impurities are thoroughly removed.

Henna Aftercare Tips

Here are some henna aftercare tips to ensure a vibrant and long-lasting stain:

  • Leave it on as long as possible: Allow the henna paste to dry on your skin and keep it on for at least 4-6 hours, or overnight for the best results.

  • Gently scrape off the dried paste: After the drying period, gently scrape off the dried henna paste. Do not wash it off with water; use a blunt tool or your fingers.

  • Avoid water during the drying process: Refrain from washing the hennaed area for the first few hours after application to let the stain set.

  • Moisturise regularly: Keep the hennaed area moisturised with a fragrance-free, water-based lotion. This helps maintain the suppleness of the skin and prolong the henna stain.

  • Avoid exfoliating the area: Refrain from using exfoliants on the hennaed skin, as this can accelerate the fading process.

By following these aftercare tips, you can help ensure a rich and lasting henna stain.

Remember that individual results may vary based on skin type and other factors.
